My new sister’s name is Sephora

Make-up has been my little source of joy ever since I was a kid, as far as I remember. Playing with those varieties of colors from eye shadows to applying different luscious shades of lipsticks makes me enthralled. Let’s face it, I’m not born with beautiful skin and beautiful features, and the only thing I have is a canvas to highlight whatever I have. I’m not really dreaming to be a make-up artist but I wish to have the rightful knowledge on how to use it properly, glad that a lot of blogs and youtube vids are  widely available to give it for free. Else I’ll enroll myself to a make-up class.

The joy of someone’s applying it for you:

Sephora is the haven that I mostly visit. I’m so happy that there is Sephora in the Middle East. They got everything I need.

Brushes are must-have if you are really eager to do it properly. I got this Sephora Starter kit brush set for a very good deal since I have a coupon free from Cosmo mag month of November.

The Monaliza Smile

That’s my older sister Monaliza whose birthday is today . Her name itself sounds a lot of mystery. She has turned 26 and still looking very young, that’s how unfair life is. She’s a very tough and strong woman like literally strong as she gave birth to her son in a normal delivery without anesthesia in a home away from the city,or maybe because she knows the stuff behind it since she has a degree in nursing.

She has an exquisite taste in music and fashion. She cooks delicious meals like my younger sister. I love her pastas and everything she cooks. She’s a super cool mom to Jemon and I admire her for that. Her love for her hubby Jhe is plainly unconditional.

I look up to her on how she manages tough situations very well. I love her for being supportive and how she fights for us.

PS. Never mess with her because she can pin you down without you uttering any word, trust me. Don’t you ever try to mess with her. No, do not, you’ll regret it.

I found this link which is helpful when you want to relax for few seconds:

I chose Filipino language for me to feel the instructions deeper, feel free to choose the language from the box located at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions carefully.

I admire the people who can stay and look calm despite the whacked-out situations they are into. I do hope to develop that skill and apply it soon.

The Voss and The Tiara

The Voss and the Tiara

I felt sad yesterday so I bought a Tiara. I hope that I won’t be in a Marc Jacobs’ store the next time I get sad. Getting sad is an excuse for buying unnecessary stuff. I’m so inlove with tiaras, bows, polka dots , glittery things and everything nice, Girly stuff! (Ewk!)

I found this bottle of Voss from auntie Han so I grabbed it. This water cost a lot when you’ll buy it in a bar or resto, I haven’t tried it yet though. In Voss’ webpage, I found this: “Like you, VOSS is more than meets the eye.” , I guess the water says it all.
